Big file, but I bet it's a damn sight more entertaining watch than that 11 minute Super Mario Bros 3 video. Before you scream "Half-Life can't be beat in an hour, FAKE!", I'll say I haven't seen anyone even suggest that it could be fake, though the player does apparently make use of some bugs. Oh, and naturally, the man is a Swede. [ 05-16-2004, 03:28 PM: Message edited by: Rataxes ]

This is what I get:
Windows Media Player cannot play the file because the specified protocol is not supported. In the Open URL dialog, try opening the file using a different transport protocol (for example, "http:" or "rtsp:"). What codec is used? |

Don't know, yet. Try one of the codecs he's hosting on his site under "Filarkiv".

This is what I get.
My media player is not interested in downloading this, much less playing it, so why bother?

A good util to get in general for videos is gspot. Just do a search for it. It analyses video files and tells you what audio and video codecs (compressors and decompressors) the file needs and whether you have them installed or not.
And it's "beaten" not "beat" in this context

The movie will run fine on the latest version of Windows Media Player. No rare codecs needed.
Just seen it, made me dizzy. The man hardly pulls the trigger in the first half of the game, but simply bunny-jumps through whatever he doesn't skip with some fancy trick or bug use. Mostly things go too fast to even tell what he's doing and how he's doing it. Still gotta admire his skill though. Rataxes, in will only "run fine on the latest version of Windows Media Player" if the correct codecs are installed. This goes for any media player program. Some media players install some codecs when they are installed that is why it can play some formats "natively". And don't get mad, just tryina help ya since english is your second language, you should be thanking me
I always pity people who break records in computer games: all that time they had to spend gawking at the screen. I only use the computer when I have to for work and when I'm trying to get away from work or have nothing else to do (seems to be quite a lot). They should get out and do some sport.
