Was rummaging about here on Escape, and found my very first post for this forum (which was the Blueboard back then). Kinda neat after all this time to read that, brings back nice sappy memories
Here is the link: http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/cg...c;f=2;t=001383 Everyone post your first post here too! I know, for some of us oldies it can be quite a task LOL, but use the "Show All Topics" and you can go as far back as 2000 |

My first was almost 2 years ago. I went through the entire W&W archives, but that was too early. It's way back there in Dec. of 2000.
http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/cg...c;f=4;t=001623 I had a different username then, but I changed shortly after. |

Unfortunately, my first posts do not exist any longer, as they are older than my daughter. She is 2 yrs and 4 months old. My first post was older than that. Ziroc's archives do not go back that far, though I thought that they used to. They are gone now.

First post Rev Ruby, first post, whether it be a reply or you making a new thread, either way, the FIRST time you typed anything on Escape
You got it! Trust me, a year from now you'll want to read it again and relish the old memories For me, reading a lot of those old posts by myself two years ago, when I had never chatted with ANYONE online, or posted to any forums before, I look at my posts back then as so dorky LOL! I thought back then it was probably best to just keep a far distance from the members, and just get the BGII info I needed, but in time I got used to the forum, and comfortable with the totally decent members, and eventually in time became comfortable posting, even with GD. Now I realize that Escape has the pick of the world's litter, and I'm amongst good, friendly, helpful people, all with different personalities. This forum since then feels to me just like my living room, comfortable, a place to unwind and relax, a place to talk about different types of RPG games with other people with the same interests in that type of gaming, to read or discuss just about anything, or to just play around for fun, either way, there are no bad consequences to posting to Escape at all, never has been for me. Which sets this forum apart from many others. [ 10-13-2002, 11:31 PM: Message edited by: ladyzekke ] |

i agree completely even after my short time here. i love it here. i'm not fond of most internet social situations on wide scale but this place is definately special. i'm not in any of the video/comp game discussions, but i don;t really play them. i love gd and roleplay tho. very enjoyable. i am happy my husband found this place and finally (after a year) got me here. i hope to make some new friends.
