MS Executive Allchin: Disclosure May Endanger U.S.

A senior Microsoft Corp. executive told a federal court last week that sharing information with competitors could damage national security and even threaten the U.S. war effort in Afghanistan. He later acknowledged that some Microsoft code was so flawed it could not be safely disclosed.

BTW, there is a statement in the Windoze EUA, stating that it is not allowed to operate on systems in control of nuclear/biological/chemical weapons. (Just though I'd warn all of you manic despots out there.) The point being; they expect it to crash.

Anyone else find it sinister that they are able to say this. Also, if the judge agrees, IMHO, it is not far off admitting that the US (+many others) are reliant on M$. What a scary thought. [img]graemlins/scream.gif[/img]
