Highest stab youve ever done?

im curious, for all you assassins out there, whats your highest stab?
i was thinking of making a kensai, and devoting myself to 2h weapons till 12th level, and then switching to a rogue
but am curious, would this yield less stab dmg using the big mods of the 2h weapons than just going with a reguler assassin would be or not
when i played as a rogue/war in my original game it seemed rather weak at stabbing, so i wanted to try for better

I don't even know if you can backstab with a two handed weapon. You don't need to be a kensai/theif to get a good backstab. My assasin has a septuple backstab and does 180+ damage. That's pretty good, but he has to hit the enemy first....

214 is my record for a backstab I dual classed a kensai to thief at 15th level he had 19 strength (tome from BG1) and grandmastery in longsword unfortunately the backstab was used on some mage on the 4th level of watchers keep. Must have stung.

Interestingly, 214 is also my highest recorded damage, scored off a critical hit at quintuple backstab.

The victim was a Glabrezu in the Guarded compound, and we got over 12000 XP in less than one second... I kept the screenshot

Oho - You can backstab with staffs. Weird eh? They have no blade even. 2-H weapon specialty will apply there. But I'm not sure that Kensai class can use staffs?

There's a powerful staff in ToB that you can find. And that's all we can say about that.

Kenshi can use all weapon other than missile i think? Heh my record was 490 backstab, with a 7x i think, i'm not sure if u can get more than 7x i could have swearen that it was 9x?? but anway it was with a quaterstaff

heh that got to hurt so good, on an poor mage heh it was so powerful that the mage just exploded i love explodeing mages

170 with my pure-class thief using the Short Sword of Backstabbing. the poor Yuan-ti in the keep never even saw her coming...
