hmmm. apparently sammy sosa got caught red-handed when his bat broke with a corked bat. ummm, what's a corked bat? advantages?

One that had a weee bit too much to drink. Ok, actually a corked bat is one that has been hollowed out and had cork injected into the center. This gives the batter more distance on his hit...I don't know the physics of it, but I do know that it is banned in the Baseball world. |
