Well, your "fluff" (die kitty, die!***) regarding the academy and adegan crystals is possibly from the books or Jedi Academy games, but my "fluff" (die kitty!) comes from the KOTOR world, where the color crystal rarely has any power, only provides color, and the power crystals (such as adegan) usually don't change the color.

As for the color of lightsaber, my fluff (KittyKill!!!) from KOTOR states that the color given for the first light saber is based on the type of jedi one is -- blue for guardian, yellow for sentinel, green for consulars. Later, you can make other sabers with different crystals. Purple is for BadMoFo's.

The problem there is that guardian, sentinal, consular, etc didn't exist until star wars d20 (the original d6 star wars published by west end games had Jedi) since d20 is teh Eville I ignore that it exists (much as I would like to do to Episodes 1 & 2).

Glad to hear the Consular/Guardian/Sentinel thing was worked into the SW RPG -- makes it much cooler. I like the specialization. I hope they made Jedi better -- under the old West End rules, they were slow to advance. Plus, under their rules, Luke Skywalker went Dark Side before they exited Jabba's palace in Ep VI, what with all the mind control going on.

Under the RPG Rules, I LOVED... yes, LOVED, playing a Goth Tramp freighter smuggler captain. The movement rules and spaceship combat rules were the shizzznet.

Then I fear you wouldn't care for the new SW D20 then, the space combat rules are incredibly poor from what I hear.

This is so funny. You'd be surprised how often people don't even bother (at least it seems that way!).

I'm not accusing you of anything other, DA, I'm just making a comment about what Link said.
