Memnoch has posted some very good rants about Ed Greenwood in the past and among them mentioned the Spellfire books, well a 3rd one was released in '02 and I was wondering if he/you had read it and ranted about it, if not This would be a good place for it [img]tongue.gif[/img]
this is as close as I've seen but it's not really a review of the 3rd spellfire book as a rant against Elminster in Hell. link his is the original rant.

Yes, those rants do make for amusing reading. I must say that I did find some enjoyable elements in all of the Elminster books I read, even Elminster in Hell. Some of the dry humour appealed especially, even if it won't ever be a 'classic' book.
