Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater

I just found this trailer for MGS3 on IGN.

I think it's the trailer that will be shown at E3. Snake seems to think that he's Rambo now. [img]smile.gif[/img]
Still, it looks amazing. Now I just have to wait 1-2 years for it to come out.

Well I hope it's more like Metal Gear Solid 1. I didn't really like the second one never finished it. The first one was a geniue classic the second a pretentious under par sequel(From the bits I played) in my opinion of course.

I agree. There was way too much sentimental crap in MGS2 especially at the end. If you compare Raiden's fight with Solidus [img]graemlins/yawn.gif[/img] to Snake's fight with Liquid on top of Metal Gear

......well there is no comparison. Hopefully there'll be more of Liquid Snake/Ocelot in MGS3. And less of Raiden prancing about.

There does seem to be something a little odd about it. Mabye it's just the name - Snake Eater. Although Japanese games usually have strange names.

Well if it is a fake it's a very convincing one.

Here are some screenshots! The graphics are amazing; I can't see how they're going to make it run smoothly on the PS2. IMO, I think it will pushed back as a PS3 launch title.

omg im drooooling that looks amazing and i now seen the trailer! i loved both games but i still agree that number 1 was the best but as i seen this i think ill think the 3rd is the best when i played it beacuse FINNALY you can be outside and not on a boat or in some house finnaly!

I'll admit it those screenshots look damn impressive but I remember thinking the same thing when I saw the screenshots for MGS 2 and I was left underwhelmed when I played the game. A game needs for more than looks to suceed. Still fingers crossed it will match MGS1...
