I own Starship Troopers on DVD. It's one of those movies that doesn't take itself too seriously, and in fact borders on the extreme side of corniness. But it sure is entertaining! I wonder whether Casper and Denise (majorly stereotypical actors) realised they were being completely used and abused by their director!

Hi Avi.
Starship troopers? it *was* funny... sort of... but it was also very weird... almost properganderish, in a funny sort of way... Im not sure if I'd want to see it again... lol; maybe I'd have to be in the 'right mood'... but not now.. lol; give it 5 more years or so.

I liked it too. But I think the movie is really a cartoon with real people. I tried watching the cartoon version, but I do not like flat, low res, static animation and so I changed channels.

I liked it. I thought it was a pretty good movie. I didn't like Rico though. I thought he bordered on complete idiot for a few of his choices.
I thought the end could have been better, but I thought overall the movie rocked.
