It's nice to see some actual competition in the games, usually if someone wins, they win by a massive lead so to see some teams fighting it out equally is refreshing.

Maybe next time around more of our national pro players will get off their asses and show some national pride. At the end of the day, this will be like hockey -- the pro players in the US will all return home to compete with their native teams. Olympic hockey is like a shakeup mix-match pickup game of NHL players, and basketball will start looking the same. |

Mebbe some NBA team owners will figger that it's better to draft some Euro players who ACTUALLY KNOW HOW TO PLAY ON A TEAM rather than some 17 year-old punk who does nothing but throw down slam dunks.
If not, you can forget about NBA basketball.
