Elevator Puzzle

i have taken care of the naga and am stuck with the
#7 elevator in the elevator puzzle. #7 elevator does not
work. have turn the switch across the room. is there some
thing i am missing or is this one of the bugs i have been
having problems with. TIA for any help

Check out all of the elevators. You will find that more than one of them don't work. Turning the switch actually makes one of them start, which will allow you to move on ...

If you mean that you have flipped the switch in the south alcove of the SW room (of the 4 rooms), then that should start the northern elevator in the NE room. That lets you access the serpent caretaker, and another switch there activates the last 2 lifts. Don't forget to go back o the locked room and retrieve the Tome of Fire before you head off to hack down Elyssia. Good luck

I bet you're referring to to the solution on the W&W story archive. I'm afraid that one is not correct: elevators 7 and 8 only work after you've entered 11. So take exit 11 after pulling the lever in the SW, and you'll be alright. (Wyv and Slip: could you fix this?)
