Help! My Devine Ring has disappeared!

I played some last night.. and I didn't notice the ring missing then... (installed the patch this afternoon) started again tonight and as soon as I loaded up my last save.. I noticed that my main guy is missing his ring!

Is it possible that after talking with the tree (he does mention my ring) he takes it???

Anyone else lost the ring in Brimloch Roon?

Do you mean the mavin signet or the divine sigil? I'm pretty sure you can do without the divine sigil once you have the sword.

I checked (I just finished talking with Oakenmuir) and both my rings (mavin and divine sig) are in place. I spent thirty minutes trying to find a word that would gain me a branch from this fellow. Maybe, I'll go back to my journal and comb Torin's dialogue . . . He did comment when I mentioned the ring that I had it.

The most common way to loose puzzle items is that monsters stole them from you (like nymphs and rogues). After you kill the monster I believe it always drops the items it stole from you, but especially a ring is easy to miss. I try to be careful, and check the environment with spirit eye.
Perhaps if you backtrack the route you have walked lately with spirit eye constantly on, you come across it again (check every white dot). (though I'm not completely sure it hasn't disappeared.)
