I remember being desperately angry about having sunburn last summer and asking about it in the forum. The only reply I remember is Johnny's, who proposed that I should put cucumber extract on it. I don't know if it was a joke or not, but I did it.

And I have no idea whether it worked or not, since I rubbed *at least* 10 doses of aftersun on my body and still was red all over the next day. Oh, the painful memories..

There's no cure for a burn except growing new skin, which itches! Antihistamines, local anestetics, and lots of moisturizers will help. Aloe gel or gels in general can cause itching as they dry up. Use creams instead.
