I have finally bought IWD 2 and then realised that it wont run on my computer, i dont want to take the game back because i will be gettin a new comp in a few months, i'm in agony. Has this sort of this ever happened to anyone else?

It's okay Charlak. After all, you're a dwarf. You're supposed to be up front bludgeoning heads and hacking off limbs. Next time, let Psybeznia do the thinking [img]smile.gif[/img]

But I do know what you mean. As a ranger, I was wise enough to not buy IWD2 until I'm able to purchase a new system, which will hopefully be by the end of Jan. Higher specs than I expected on that one. It gives me more reasons to replay IWD+HOW+ToLM though, as long as I can hold MY dwarf off long enough.

'Course, it will bring up a whole new set of issues, like deciding between Neverwinter, IWD2, and Dungeon Siege.

I am running Icewind Dale II on a pentium II 333 with 300 megs of ram and it is working just fine...

Why isn't it working? is it not running at all? not even the first fews menus?
You can set the resolution to 800 x 600 on HOW maybe that'll work?
