ok,when i bought the game the inside jacket of the box had me to believe that you could be a bugbear drider hook horror chimera,anybody else thought that or am i just an idiot

I thought so too, althought I was wondering how a chimera or hook horor could be a playable race.

Heh, yeah it could be taken that way - I'm looking at the box now, I think the new "playable classes and races" as advertised are the deep gnome, barbarian, half-orc and drow. Then on the other side of the box it shows the bugbear, drider, hook horror and chimera, but I think those are meant to show the "hordes" that you're to answer the call to arms against. It's too bad, I want a hook horror now

hehe... while this may be thoroughly interesting from an RP standpoint.... having every single NPC out to kill you, no matter how nice a hook horror you might be, would be rather frustrating
