Hmmm, I was reading this news article and found out that 14 states allow a drivers license WITHOUT a picture, but it doesn't list the states.
It would be a great irony if this woman moved to one of those states and got a picture-free drivers license. http://www.sltrib.com/2003/Jun/06072...on_w/63907.asp @ Cerek You make an interesting observation outlining this persons criminal past, but as you posted, when she was in real trouble, the veil came off. Just some info for ya Chewie A jury can find you guilty with nothing but circumstancial evidence. The way they portrey circumstancial evidence on TV, youwould think that it didn't matter..but you can be convicted on it alone I know....I helped convict a guy for murder on circumstancial evidence in San Diego County once. (We were wrong by the way...turns out he could have been innocent but the judge with held evidence from us so we had no choice).

" The ACLU of Florida said it was disappointed in Thorpe’s statement that while Freeman “most likely poses no threat to national security,” others may take advantage of a ruling in her favor to threaten lives. “So we have to infringe on Freeman’s religious beliefs because of what someone else might do,” ACLU legal director Randall C. Marshall said. “It seems to be a funny kind of interpretation on how the law should apply.” "

I am actually relieved to hear that the ACLU has a problem with it. Now I know the ruling was right.
