For Stormy:

Need two equations for two unknowns: x = Azred's current age, y = Belle's current age

Belle is 5 years younger so y = x - 5 : Equation 1
Three years ago, Belle's age was 5/6 of Azred's age at the time so:
y - 3 = 5/6(x - 3) : Equation 2

substitute equ 1 into 2:

x - 5 - 3 = 5/6(x-3) ... multiply out
x - 8 = 5/6x - 5/2 ... group x terms and constant terms
x - 5/6x = 5.5 ...
x/6 = 5.5 ...
x = 33 ...
sub back into equ 1:
y = x - 5 = 28
