ok i got a prefect pc^_^ 2 ghz geforce 3 80 gb hardrive etc...
anyway since a week even if i would start baldursgate 1 it would stop for about 12 seconds every 3 minutes and that is VERY irreating so anyone have any ideas?

My guess is that you have it misconfigured. I have a 1.0 GHz PIII system that runs it quite smoothly. If you really want Smoothe in BG1 though you have to make sure you load everything to disk and not read it off the CD. The install program will tell you that you don't have enough disk space (it doesnt seem to recognize drives bigger than 2GB) but if you tell it to go ahead any way it will install fine. (I have installed this game at least a half dozen times.)

Might be an idea to clear out the cache (go into the BG2 folder, find the cache folder and delete it all) especialy if BG2 is the only game affected.
Other than that, turning off 3d acceleration has been known to help, and updating graphics card drivers never hurts either.

ok but u now it is not only bg 1 or 2 its EVERY MOTHER *********************************************** game....

In that case I would bet that it is your OS that is mis configured. Proably has the system restore thingy set to max that is killing your performance. Who configured the OS for you? Should have them tune it for gamers.
