Where is this faggot? I've been inside the ranger's cabin in the Umar Hills, but he isn't there!
#2: You know that journal you fin in the temple ruins? The one that says his cache is in a column surrounded by trees? I can't find that either. I ran my mouse over them all, but no luck. Any help would be much appreciated! |

If he's not in his cabin then I suppose you should try his home in Athkatla, in the docks district. As for his cache, I can't find it either. However, I can't find the 1st half of his journal, so my chances of finding it are probably slimmer than yours. Valygar himself is not one of the better characters to choose from, but the sphere quest is quite entertaining.
Just a thought, but are you talking about the right cabin. There are two rangers cabins in Umar. The Northernmost cabin being Valygars. |

I think that whole cache thing is part of the ranger stronghold quest.
