How to fight the common cold?

Awww Velk, I'm sorry to hear that!! I had a bad exam period myself (was often ill in my final year so that I attended maybe half of all classes, and I had a bad split up which really affected me at that age, two days before the "tentamenweek"). Still I made it, and I've no doubt you will too! [img]graemlins/thumbsup.gif[/img]

Lots of great tips already; my own remedy for when I need to quickly cure a cold is as follows. Sleep lots, drink lots, take a Vitamin C pill (1000 mg) everyday and if necessary paracetamol, and stay warm to sweat it off! Make sure you eat enough - a sore throat can make you want to stop eating, but hot food will actually numb the pain and you need to eat to regain your strength, too. [img]smile.gif[/img]
The weather being as it is now, BTW, I would stay inside! It looks sunny from time to time but the wind is pretty strong and you'd do best to stay warm. [img]smile.gif[/img]
If you've got a bad cough (which can be annoying for your classmates too during the exams) get a cough syrup. Depending on whether you have "vastzittende hoest" or "kriebelhoest", there are good ones available in every drug store.
Finally, don't stress it! [img]smile.gif[/img] Like Aelia said, a cold usually doesn't last very long (sadly I'm the exception to the rule ) so you'll be fine! [img]smile.gif[/img]
