ok, I tought it was just a site tat I was havig problems with, until it happened here too, for some reason, my browser is not showing animations like the smiley's, they do not move, when before did, now it just sits there, is it someting in my settings I am missing? I have gone everywhere in the advanced options, and can not find anything relating to animation, if this helps, I have IE 6, and it wound up being ad supported, did not see it until I had already downloaded and installed

Do you use Zone Alarm or any other firewall product?

If you run ZA, there is a setting there to block animations under the privacy settings and ad blocking.

The same thing happened to me last year.

You can allow just allow Ironworks to show animations if you choose, but I found it was better to allow that option for all webpages and then to personalize my favorite pages from that point.
