k, here is a biggy question:

you know when u type something in the typing column in web pages, for example the search engine...my computer memorises wat i hav typed and automatic shows them in a list when i typed the first few letters of that word in the future.

that is extremely annoying to me, and i wish i could erase those memorised words...

how on earth do i go about doing that?
comp pros out there plz ans, appreciated~

On IE, got to Tools, then Internet Options, and click clear history. Then youre set.

Nope that only clears the URL history.

Instead go to Tools-->Internet options. Select the Contents tab, then Autocomplete. Click clear sheets.

You must have a Canadian version of IE, Willow

On my version, it's Clear Forms, not Clear Sheets. And if you want to completely disable it, uncheck the "Forms" box above (under "Use Autocomplete for").

Personally, it doesn't bother me that much, and it's actually kind of useful. I guess I've had the koolaid...

Didn't bother to check. It's clear forms in my browser as well.
