I just found this, and have been having a blast making swords, bows, and some basic creatures.
The makers of 3d Studio Max have released a FREE modeling package that is quite easy to use. Tutorials are available, and in about a hour I had a near proffessional quality modeled ELF head... http://www.discreet.com/products/gmax/ Oh, and btw : Dungeon Siege will be using this, so you can easily make levels and creatures, etc. with it |
