The thought of charming the Amazoni Mantrap.. Erin: hey cutie, you doing anything tonight? *CHOMP* |

carg - I got the spell 'reveal' too
what it supposed to do is to reveal any invisible, hidden, or shadowed creatures near the target. I honestly thought it was meant something else.... |

Maybe it is too early in the came (Skull Island), but Awaken has been pretty useless, my group rarely gets "Slept" and when they do, it doesn't last too long.
Torchlight is also lame. I used Vanish to unstick the ship, that was good. Cast Lure on your Assassin, she never gets hit, so all the monsters will go for her and everyone else is safer. This is even better if the assassin is hiding in shadows and has imunity to spell types through artifacts and enchanted clothes. Mark |

Adam, I know what the manual says about reveal, it's just that the only creatures near with reduced visibility are my own partymembers cloaked in shadows.
Although, I admit I never used the spell, so perhaps when I cast it there appear all sorts of creepy things that I can't handle so I die horribly, and they eat my save files too and ... (Oops, that's a scary thought for the 'adding monsters' thread: meta-monsters that alter your game, like meta-assassins turning down your gamma when you need it most, meta-insects lowering your resolution so you can't find them anymore, etc.) |

Finally, after weeks of building up I get to select a Super Powerful, 7th level Moon spell. Can't wait to try it out.
The joke's on me - 'Hands of Time' seems to only stop time on the character casting it. The monsters continue to slash away while my character takes an eternity to recover from casting the spell. |

Has anyone ever seen 'DUST TO DUST' cause any damage to anything. It is described as a higher level of 'DISPEL UNDEAD', an effective spell, but I gave up trying it since it never had any effect on any undead I tried it on and it has a large recovery penalty.

I found Dust to Dust a must against the Wraith types in Shurgeon Castle. One spell for each opponent, as the manual says it should be. For some reason the spell didn't work on one of the "skeletal warrior" types, but I had no problem with any other Undead.

Kagetora - thanks for the terrific hint
I thought I made a bad investment on 'dust-to-dust' until you mentioned it casting myself as a 'shadow' was kewl.... and I have yet to use the 'spectral raven' had anyone tried to use 'summon creature'? |
