Any Alpha Centauri/Alien Crossfire Fans out there on the boards?

YES!!
I love Alpha Centauri (and all similar CIV type games!) although I never managed to get a copy of Alien Crossfire.
I go for rapid expansion - as many cities as possible for me thanks!

Ooooh! Me! I love Alpha Centauri, been unable to get my hands on a copy of Alien Crossfire though, I always build few cities and expand slowly and non-agressively, building now cities only when I find optimal resource areas, I prefer going for the Transcendence victory, anyone else here have a favorite victory?

Trancendance is the best methinks. Alien Crossfire is a great addition to the game. It's definitely worth picking up.
