That´s a matter of opinions. I´d say go for Fallout 2 as well. It´s a good game too. And Fallout 3 is eagerly awaited in this house.

fallout 2 is one of the best games i played, not just for the gameplay but for the humour (if you like monty python at all buy it) and for the gaming world which is huge and well populated with a collection of insane npcs (dont lose an armwrestling competition or you might end up as a mutated guys gimp for the night and gain a ballgag in your inventory in the morning )

its worth buying if you like rpgs and like a huge selection of guns and weaponary as well as turn based combat so you have time to plan your tactics and challenging gameplay also with a great plot running through it if you ever bother to do the main plot that is

I L-O-V-E-D Fallout 2.

There's tremendous atmosphere in the way the music and characters come together. The battles are very satisfying to watch. I mean, few games let you turn as many vile mutants into cheese. There's some great voice-acting as well.

It's just a profoundly cool game to own.

GO GET IT!

I've heard of it, but don't know what the story is... and also, what is a ball-gag??? I'd like to know these things...

Fallout is a post-apocolypse rpg. It's set after a nuclear war. You use guns and power fists instead of swords and bows. Everyone should play this game. I love when your car gets stolen and you ask Jules if he's seen it.

I'll only explain the ball gag if your over 18.

Fallout is, imo, the best RPG ever made. Fallout 2 is good but lacked a bit in the post-nuke atmosphere. All in all i would say that it's definatly a game you should play. It isn't a fantasy game however.
