Strikeing deeply on the first volley of slashe's Vincent kept his momentum going, slipping under the creatures mid section and following up wit a double thrust to the creatures back ( 12 and 16 to attk. 5 and 5 on dmg) pulling the blades back and stepping back into a gaurded position Vince prepares to attack again.

the pain from the apparent wounds barely registers on the creature's snarling fang filled face, and the wounds close quickly, leaving only the tiniest bit of blood on your blades, as the creature lunges seeking to tear out your throat, Vince's change of stance was probably the only thing that saved him from a vicious mauling at the slavering fangs of the hairy bestial force before him, a quick twist and duck and the man-wolf flies past and over Vince, leaving him an opening (3 on my attack roll)

IC: Giving a quick glance about Vince starts to look for an escape route, thinking to himself that this battle is a little to much in favor of this were beast he decides to even the odd's a bit, noticing an ajar window a little to his left Vince uses the moment to dodge to it, just as he get's to it and prepares to leap through it he slips on the damp rock (failed the dex check

)
quickly spinning over to his back he prepares for the beast immenent charge.

IC: As Vince lands hard against the wall of the building a small pot falls, shattering next to you, you notice a small amount of broken ceramic, and a pale green plant, with dark green, almost blue leaves. the man-wolf before you sniffs exerimentally before slowly walking away facing you the entire time. growling lowly as it heads down a darkened alleyway where the lamp has gone out, or been put out.

OOC: you can fire up to 2 shots at it, or give chase if you feel the need

(tucks tail between leg's ) Best to let a sleeping dog lie so to speak, I'm sure we will meet again. Gonna make sure the thing disappears and then check out this plant.

Picking himself up and dusting off, Vincent kneels back down to examine the plant, picking it up and smelling it he immediatly recognises it, "Heh, The god's were smiling on me this eve, when next I meet that furry bugger I am going to ram this down his throat". Picking up his dropped weapons, he arranges his gear properly again and hearing footsteps he decides it is time to hide.

time to find a quick spot, I am assumeing that this will be the party member coming to the call of my whistle, but then maybe there not coming at all, and if this is the case Vince will follow the directions and keep a weary eye out for the wolfman

I'm waiting for ruby to post, haven't seen anyone else wanting to post for a while... hopefully that'll change.

IC: The man-beast stalked into the darkness after first returning to the spot where it ambushed it's first victim, you can hear a wet dripping sound intermingled with a dragging scraping sound in the darkness.

IC: the mysterious man comes upon the scene, an audible sigh of relief that combat is over. "where?!" a decidedly feminine voice says.

then after some throat clearing, a gruff voice, "where are you? i heard your whistle!" he turns around muttering "idiot's probably dead by now."
