LOL, I read in the "Occupations" thread that you are a morgage specialist. Does that mean that people call you up and find out if they are eligible for morgages? My friend Connie is in real estate, and the stories that she tells me about people deceiving her and then are unable to get morgages!

I work in Broker Home Equity - which means you have a Broker who calls a bunch of banks, finds the best rate, and then tries to sell the loan to us. We pull credit, look at title, income, make sure you have insurance, make sure the broker disclosed all his fees properly, then we pull out the wallet. The crooked part comes when the brokers get fast and loose with the truth. Like people who are living with their parent's and putting the Mother on instead of the wify because she has better credit...or putting someone else on the deal who does not own the house but has a lot of income (called a co-signer deal, which we do not do) or...list go on and on.... [img]smile.gif[/img] My job is to speak to the broker about what we need, take their calls and explain why we need what we need...then argue....and I'm not allowed to get mad... [img]smile.gif[/img]
