I can't believe that you can just forget us vikings, we were the masters of Europe, if we had cared to conquer it that is, we only judged it fit to be raided and plundered, not lived in, all fled as our warriors charged towards them and our name made the rest of Europe quiver in terror.
Wolfgir is one too, I believe.
Heck, all of Europe has a LONG history of waging war on, conquering and losing to each other. There is more war than peace in our history books by a BIG margin.

er... yeah... apart from York, Dublin, etc. etc. etc. I think you'll find plenty of evidence for Vikings living there.

Allright, so maybe a small part of Europe was fit to live in, like York, probably because it's placed so near Scotland, never heard that we lived in Dublin though, thanks for correcting me on that one, of course, we SOMETIMES lived in other parts of Europe than Scandinavia, but only after we had cleared out all of the annoying french and germans, because, like I once heard an english cabbie say, "France is a nice enough country, except for all the damn french who live there."

Don't tell me you're SERIOUSLY going to fight over things that happened 'bout 2000 years ago? I mean, the Italians could be proud of being the descendants of the Romans who once conquered almost all of Europe except for the recalcitrant Germans . There basically WERE no "Germans", "French" or "English" cultural groups, just Anglo-Saxon etc. And also, I think all of us have ancestors in more than one of these cultures. I consider history worthwhile to learn about in order not to repeat mistakes made, NOT to get into fights about.

Hate to break it to you, but York is a good deal nearer London than Scotland. A LOT nearer!

OK, OK, I'll stop being argumentative!!!

But it's closer to Scotland than London, and what's this about not doing as we did in the past? Do you mean that the Vikings should not once again inspire terror in the rest of Europe? We were born to rule this weak continent, and now that we have made advances in technology, we can rule America and Asia too!

I have mentioned them. Wolfgir as a Vangarian or Swedish Viking (ones that travelled via the Russian river network as opposed to the Danish and Norwegian Vikings, who sailed the oceans), and some Great Danes - a pun on the large dog of the same name. I hadn't come across any Norse.

I kind of get the feeling that Neb is being rather less than totally serious . I rather think he is having one of his megalomania/overlord/supreme being type episodes. Once the delerium is past he will be a bit more rational...........or then again perhaps not!!!!

I didn't know that Vangarian was another word for Viking, and if you insist on calling us Danes for Great Danes instead of Vikings, could then at least include me?
