Default Audio Tech question...

recenly tried to run a video through the free version of divx player. It said the video had a sound track in the Dolby AC3 Audio (Code "8192") format. and that I'd may need to install a Direct Show decoder to hear the sound track. So far this seems to be true. Video is fine, audio is silent.

I've looked for said decoder and all the sites that appear look a little less than trustworthy to my eyes.

Does anyone have any suggestions on where to look or what to look for?

Thanks in advance for your input.

Remember to scan it for viruses... (This site is really good, but I STILL always scan.)
Let me know if it fixes it for ya.

Works beautifully, and virus scan turned up nothing.

Many thanks for the assist.
