Every time I fight this guy at least one of my party gets turned into a Ghast.
How can I avoid this from happening? He is the guy you have to fight in the Cult's Basement. It seems like when he dies...one member of my party becomes a Ghast every time!!! Please help me! Thanks in advance!!! |

All I remember so far about that battle is that you have to kill all the little people before the big guy, or the demon will ressurect himself from one of his follower's bodies. If no one else has answered you by the time I get back from my lunch break, I will have gone home and got out the old trusty strategy guide and return with your answer...if there is an answer...

Strategy is to launch lotsa fireballs to kill the cult buddies before killing Aec Letec, as larry said.
Also you should have a cleric or mage away from battle. Why ?? Cause you should have ready a guy prepared to dispel magic on your members before they become ghasts. When you see a little white thing (like a spermatozoid  ) in a characters portrait, that means that in few moments he/she will become a ghast, so you have to cast dispell magic on him/her quickly.------------------  "Let my spells do the dirty work" Ertai, High Sorceror of the Holy Flame
