Okay, I did the search and can't really come up with a way to take on the dragons. I guess I am just not that great. Any hints or clues that might help. All my characters are around 11 levels but can't seem to make a dent. I defeated the stone gate and the Wyverns and of course the next screen is the river caves. When I go back though I get the world map. Is this right? Thanks for any hints clues help in advance.

If you get the world map when exiting an area, you can go to any area that's shown on the map by clicking on the corresponding icon. In your case, you could for example go back from the River Caves to the Wandering Village in one go, without having to travel through all those areas of the Fell Woods. Most times you're transferred directly to the adjacent area, but in some places you get the world map instead. Not sure why exactly.
As for the Dragons and Wyrms, they are cold-based critters and as such vulnerable to fire. Buff your warriors to the max with defensive spells and give them weapons that do fire damage (if you have any of those that are halfway decent), have your ranged fighters use fire-based ammo, and have your wizards and priests cast lots of fire-based magic. I've even heard of people who sent in their Wizard/Sorceror on his own, buffed with Stoneskin and Fire Shield Red and casting spells like Sunfire and Fireball. That seems a viable (and inherently necessary) strategy for powerful solo Wizards, but I'm not sure how well a relatively weak Wizard from a six-person party would do in such an onslaught. Anyway, as I said, fire is the keyword here. |

Go back to the village and buy a buttload of potions of extra healing. Use your magic weapons that do fire damage and blast him with fire based spells.
With the extra healing potions you'll beat him. Another good strategy is when one of your characters starts to get seriously injured and is about to die, cast a globe of invulnerability around him. He won't be able to do anything, but most monsters keep attacking him anyway. This is one of my favored tactics, even if it is only successful because of poor AI. |

There are 2 ways that you end up fighting the white dragons.
Version 1: You get ambushed by 1 white dragon and the white wyrm kiddies outside the mouth of the cave. You'll be surrounded. Largely focus on taking the dragon down first. Have your spellcasters and any archers run away from the battle to open the range and stay outside the short range cold breath attacks. After taking down these bad boys, heal up. Then go into the cave and take on the remaining white dragon. Version 2: You enter the cave and are abushed by both white dragons and all of the white wyrm kiddies. You're surrounded and one dragon may be in the middle of your formation. Throw everything at the dragon that's in the heart of your formation, except perhaps for the 1 tank that's next to the other dragon. After taking down the "inside formation" dragon, nuke the other dragon. Both battles are completely winnable, but are tough fights. |

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - In targos, in the Temple pavillon, there was a patient that was actually a dopelganger. He asked you to bring a letter to a friend of him in another town, andtold you not to tell anyone about this. If you told the smart priest about the letter, he would ask to read it, and findout that it was actually a report on targos's fortification and all. You had to kill the doppleganger, then the priest would give you fake letters to take with you instead. So after the ice wall, when you meet the reinforcement from theother town, the guy would ask you for the letter, and him and his friendswould co a fewpaces back to read it, and BOOM! the letter was traped, so they are now all wounded, and they transform back in doppleganger, and the other real guards help you kill them. Now, when you get outside of the dragon's cave, instead of fighting all of the monsters inside the cave, they are split into 2 groups, one outside the cave, one dragon and about 4 wyrm, and the same inside. It's a lot easier like that. Especially since you can rest and save before going inside. You also get some xp forexposing the doppleganger guards.
