~She looks on as the wall of flame surges toward her. Without any emotion or reaction she leaps up her noose, the thorns turning to flowers as she climbs. She stumbles slightly as the flames tickle her leg, but by the time the spell had reached where she had stood, she was high in the rafters of the building. A grim look crosses her face.~ "Truly you are the black sheep of the family Meldrin... I've never known a Nightblade to be so pathetic."

Larry watches as Spree is chased by fire, and is glad he has a ring of Fire protection. But didn't she get one, as well?
As an added bonus to his defenses, Nightblade envelopes Larry in a Blue-fire shield.

I didn't say I'd help you though.)

~She saves versus the spell but retains a fair amount of damage, she clings to the rafter, forcing herself to continue.~ "You continue to prove your insolence to me Meldrin." ~She grasps the emerald dragon tightly.~

Seeing Spree continue to take the assault and damage from an invisible coward...Larry decides he needed to help Spree somehow. He felt guilty just standing there, not doing anything, and watching another friend die. Looking into his pouch, he found his best healing potion that he had been saving for such a need, attached it to Nightblade, and told the sword..."you know what to do"......the sword sped across the room, and into the wall of coral beside Spree, with the bottle hanging there on the hilt.

(ooc: Thanks! I hope Deiter comes soon... this guy's spells are going to run out quite soon, and I may have to resort to disabling some pple for the time being. Here goes...)

~ Heaving a sigh of relief, Meldrin runs through his list of spells mentally again. Ah! This should do it... Murmuring in the mysterious tones common to spellcasters,he concentrates. Before long, a magic sword (20 rounds, +4 weapon, as if wielded by level 10 fighter) appears. ~

~ "Attack!" Meldrin orders the sword, pointing to Chani. ~

~ Mistral's breath becomes more regular. ~

By the way,...as for that last post...Note that Nightblade is near Spree, so it will enevitably defend her, because it does what it wants, most the time, ...

~ The fool will come back for Mistral. There the Nightblade is, dancing around Chani with that ridiculous potion of healing... Mistral's hand is holding the Brightblade which seems to be regenerating her... Chani just tried to entangle me earlier with one of the twins of Tear's Fall... where is the last twin? I must find out what the combined effort of these treasures do! ~

~ Excitement grips the wizard. ~ That ranger must have gone to hunt for the person with the last twin... if I do not recall wrongly, it seemed to a half-elf just like Chani. He was holding her while she was unconscious when they first appeared here... ~

His lips twist into an evil smirk. ~ He will no doubt come to rescue his little lover, my niece! Fancy another fool coming my way, and delivering the last twin so nicely to me! ~

~Meldrin's laugh begins softly, but raises to a mighty cresendo...~

[ooc: Btw, since the casting of sunfire, Meldrin has already revealed his presence again. That's why he cast Tensor's Transformation to increase hp before he took the offensive again.]
