AFAIK Wizards & Warriors was never released on any other platform than for PC. There is a version of Wizards & Warriors for NES which is not the same game as this! I have no idea what kind of game that is. Perhaps if you supplied a link we could verify it for you. However I do know that the Wizards a& Warriors version for NES has two sequels so I would assume that it is that game that will be released on Playstation.
But this game is great. If you can get your hands on it I suggest you try it out. I know it's available in Australia. [ 11-11-2003, 11:39 AM: Message edited by: WillowIX ] |

Welcome to the board, cloud ff7 38!!!
I'm not familiar with the PS2 game so I don't know if it is "this" game or not. This board is dedicated to the PC version of W&W. I consider it to be one of the most enjoyable CRPGs I have played in many long years but whether or not you would find it so could depend on your preferences in games. I've generally observed that people who are big fans of the BG series tend to not like W&W but we have some regular posters on this board who do indeed like both. We have had many threads on this board in which posters have tried to describe to those considering buying the game what they may like or dislike about the game. A search should come up with quite a few of those. Generally, if you can find W&W it is very cheap. I think it is worth a try and this board is really terrific about helping players! Wyv |

PS2...? That does not sound like this game at all. However, I can very much recommend getting the game for PC. How many role playing games have been on the road for this long and is still so loved by its audience? Not many.
Get it, and you will not regret it.

I've never seen the PS2 game, so I can't add much. The PC game, as you might have guessed by now, can be a whole lot of fun...

Hmmm... several hours is rather unique. Perhaps you were going back and forth through your browser, and it was still in there. That's my only thought... or that Cet has actually taken over your computer and is preparing his next return

Hehe i kinda like the Cet idea... About time Egyptian mythology had a renaissance...
But your first suggestion seemed more plausible
