has anyone else noticed the mimiced storyboards in both the live action and animated LotR? Take a look at the newer flik and then watch the animated version. The character direction seems awfully similar. no complaints here, of course, Jackson did an outstanding job.
as for why the animated version was cut short, it was over a financil matter. the animation technique proved too costly to finish, and far to cheesy for this age of veiwers

I remember when the animated version of lotr came out in Australia. I thought it was pretty good, but I was really pissed off that they never finished the story. As far as I know the return of the king & the hobbit never made it to Australia.
I'm about to check out that Amazon site. Thanks for finding it for us.
