Okay peeps, I'd like at least two minor allergies or one major allergy from each character.

Thank you.

Ydalon:
- Allergic to death (his own at least, but he doesn't know it. Is that major?)
- Allergic to danger (minor, an itch near the left shoulderblade which serves as a sixth sense)

Or maybe I'll settle for horses leading to a running nose followed soon after by teary eyes and a nickel-related contact allergy which flares up after prolonged exposure instead.

DAM, it's either one major or two minor. You can't just have one minor

Telryn, as stated in his character description, has an uber phobia (checked with CD, phobias are ok) of fire. In controlled environment (ie. small lantern) it's fine, but if it's uncontrollable he'll be a nervous wreck

Isokla's allergies/phobias are: ignorance, stupidity, and men. .

...and an unhealthy fascination with stopping individuals she dislikes from procreating.

Oh, she's also afraid of being buried alive. It may have happened once or twice to make her dislike it. And no doubt, she has deep seated "Daddy Issues". Explains a lot, doesn't it?

On another note (and do excuse the double post, but this really deserves a post of its own...)

In recognition of AA's two year birthday (since we completely missed the last one)

The actual game started on the 21 July 2005; the OOC thread started on the 15th July 2005.

Today's the 18th, The difference between them is near enough. So without further ado I present to you...

'Telryn: the Glory Years'
featuring "MANTHING", "Isokla 'look at me and I'll cut you off'," "Jason", "Nivram the drunk" and many, many more...

Act I: Riverside Lake
Scene begins: Standing at the lakeside, Telryn the hero of our tale casts his manly gaze around. He is on a quest. A quest of dire urgency. He is searching for 'MANTHING' and the secrets to life itself - for men. See next time for our womanly mysteries and your mind will break as you try to unravel them.

Telryn, over six foot tall; muscular, bulky; he is a warrior; he is a man's man. He is the CAPTAIN OF THE GUARD.

Next to the river is a woman. She is glaring daggers at anyone who wanders close and seems to be lying on the ground with an deep wound, bleeding to death. No one dares approach.

Up steps Telryn...

Telryn: You there! Woman! You are in need of assistance! I am TELRYN! CAPTAIN OF 'THE GUARD'. I am a HERO. A warrior! I will SAVE you! I am - A Man's Man. That's right. A Man's Man.
*Telryn poses*
Isokla: You come near me and I'll- *Isokla swoons, falling head over heels in love with his manly pose*
Isokla: Oh Telryn, I am Isokla; a wounded maiden! Aid me, I beg you - I have been hurt by evil, wicked bandits to the north and-
Telryn: FEAR NOT! FOR I AM HERE! I AM A MAN'S MAN AND I WILL SAVE YOU! HOO-RAH!

Telryn dashes off

Isokla: That... he left me here to bleed to death!

Meanwhile...

Up near the north, Nivram the Drunk is staggering from town to town... in search of alcohol; to experience strange new heights; to go where no drunk has gone before. *cue music*

Telryn dashes past

Telryn: WAIT! Is that a drunk I see? I must save him from his stupor! YOU THERE! GOOD FELLOW! JOIN WITH ME AND TOGETHER WE SHALL AVENGE THE WRONGS OF THE WORLD -
Nivram: Got booze?
Telryn: All I have is cheap hooch, ol' chap.
Nivram: That'll do.
Telryn: HOO-RAH! MY FIRST COMPANION! Now to save the maiden in distress by DESTROYING THE BANDIT NEST OF VILLAINOUS SCUM!
Nivram: Not so load *groans*

Telryn dashes off with another loud 'Hoo-rah'

Two hours pass

They are at the edge of the forest, near Lakeside Village, at the Swan's Pool, an inn.

Jason is currently being molested by bandits...

Jason: No! I'll never join you! I'd never be a part of your evil!
Bandit 1: Oh, but you will
Jason: Never! I'd rather die!
Bandit 2: That can be arranged...
Bandit 1: Let's have some fun and force him to come along!
*bandits cackle evilly*

Telryn rushes up
Telryn: HOO-RAH! BANDITS!
Jason: YES! Let me join you! They are evil! I am not with them!
Telryn: HOO-RAH!
Nivram: Not so loud...

Telryn flexes his giant abs and the bandits begin to flee; he and Jason cut them down with giant sweeps of their swords while Nivram stands nearby drinking.

Telryn: HOO-RAH! WHO'S NEXT?! You! Bandit...

*Telryn eyes Jason*

Telryn: Hey Gorgeous, *putting his strong, manly muscular arm round the boy* Did anyone ever tell you you're quite cute?
Jason: ARRGH!
Nivram: Need more hooch...

Meanwhile

Isokla: Damnit, where is that fool? I'm getting blood all over my skirts. I should be cooking up some exotic fish dish and threatening to poison everyone, or plucking hairs out of younger girls' eyebrows and making them scream!

Somewhere to the west, the sound of singing is heard... and an old man is crowned...

Back at the forest...

A resounding 'Hoo-rah' is heard

Telryn: Now, where were we cutie?
Nivram: What about that girl?
Telryn: HOO-RAH! I'll 'rescue' her next. *Telryn winks*

And that's how the CAPTAIN OF THE GUARD does things.

The End

Feel free to add your own.
Edit: thanks to Ivelliis for allowing his character to be mutilated more horribly than everyone elses'.

Since you ask so nicely, let me honour the occasion with a poem I wrote in the middle of the night just now.

See us carting bloom
Over golden arches where as children
Bright in the playground of madness
Where masters of sight gaze
Out upon our memories of damaged comrades
Surrendered we look for stars
Burning between salient worlds
Unseen where plays
The same tale differently not recognising
The figures marching through the skyless void
Above for they are yet more
Mirrored than their trails and what seems
To me so long skipping straight ahead
In circles is only a garden's
Path and dinner is hours
More away

I'll be posting again tomorrow. You may want to hide the children tonight.
