Hmmm a 1986 memory....ok my girlfriend I lived with in 1986 was a slut. I wish she had at least had the brains to charge for her services, since the lazy tramp wouldnt find a job. Other than that my main memory of 1986 was making little money and the space shuttle Challenger blowing up as I watched in Montgomery Wards (a department store)

Ahh, 1986, I was 11, we moved to the town were I've lived since then.
I started realising girls were something not just to be teased I saw Gremlins that year... it scared the &%$& out of me... I started listen to "grown ups music"... Duran Duran anyone... ? I remember the Ronny & Gorbachov summit because there was a live feed from the door were it was on the tv all day... from in front of the house... guess how much fun that was, and how angry I got when my favourite cartoon was skipped... because they had just gotten a word that something big was going on behind the door they had been showing all day... But it was a good year |

So what do you think England's chances are this year? I actually rekon they might pull a shock win. But... only one Australia will still win the trophey

Lesee, 1986. It was the Roaring 80's, the oil slump was just about to happen. I went to the opening party of the Cresent, a posh shopping mall in Dallas, and was still married to my ex-wife. She wore a low-cut dress, drank too much champagne, and fell down, popping out of her top. Jeez, why did I ever marry her, I forget.

1986 is the year of my earliest childhood memory. My mother was bathing me and there was Michael McDonald's 'Sweet Freedom' playing on the radio. Weirdness.
