Hi Slacker! Well currently here at office I have 1280 and at home 1152, nut most users still has 800x600 or 1024x760. Preferably a nested frameset is the best way to deal with a perfect page without trouble (viewing ones, still ha to make it work )

I would say that you should check the 800x600 or 1024 to get the best result for everybody. Personally i never browse a page in full window mood, or maximised..

At the risk of sounding extremely stupid about these kind of things (which I am), how can I tell? If you will tell me, I will be happy to check.

Disclaimer: I am translating this from my German version of windows 98:

- right-click anywhere on your desktop (but not on a symbol for an application !)
- In the following pop-up-menue select "properties"
- next "settings"
- In that window you now see a "slide switch" to set the resolution, beneath it tells you the current setting.

Besides, you should be worrying about finding that "guaranteed-tan-line-free" bikini right now and not about the settings for computer monitors !

Btw, mine is set to 800x600 !

SB, just so you'll know:

As of January 2001, less than 2% of the Internet browsers are set to 1280x1024. Even people with screen resolutions set that high or higher are prone to run their browsers in a sized window.

Even though the number is dwindling, about 1/3 of the browsers are STILL using 640x480 resolution. This is generally from the small to medium sized business community who have not upgraded their machinery since "if it works, why fix it?" For example, Sally Beauty Supply here in Denton, which employs 300+ workers, still use 80486 computers running Windows 3.11!!
