Here is the link for the 2nd Edition ADnD stuff at WotC. I have downloaded a number of them and it is legal. Just scroll down and you will be amazed at what is there. This is the WotC site.

Saddly, I have found no where to freely download 1rst and 2nd edition core rules books (PHB DMG MM) that is legal and legitimate. I wonder when, or if these out of print tomes will become free from copyright restraints?
