I, too suspect that I am a thread killer. I've seen many threads end with my last post. I also think my liberalness, politically agravates some. But, I'm just being me and there's not much that can be done about it.

Hm, I can kind of see where you're coming at on this one. But hey, don't expect everyone to immediatly respond to your posts (sorry, that sounded patronising).

The best way to be known is to go to the cafe. I did.
Er actually, you better not take my advice. I'm now known as Butt Goatee Boy, and everyone thinks I have an obsession with Jockstraps. I'm not the best one to ask on ways to get recognition

Well, Nanobyte, it's amazing the money you've amassed for your car in such a short time. I'm surprised you have time to notice replies to your threads.

Getting responses to your posts is not always the best. If you said the end-all-be-all on a topic, wouldn't everyone just quietly genuflect about it and not add anything? Controversial opinions get you responses, as do not-so-controversial opinions stated controversially. Replies, therefore, are not necessarily good things.

Seriously, though, I have certainly noticed your posts before. If you happened to notice, I replied too. We all feel the need to communicate - and not just in one direction. It's a basic human yearning, and you are not the first to be frustrated in this way. Feel better, dude.

Respect is earned not just picked up, that being said. I cannot recall ever having seen a post made by you that required a comment form me, either in support of or a counter too. Im not ignoring you, you just haven't picked up on anything Im involved with Pax!

Question Mark

I can see what you're saying. I've had threads that might get a single reply at best, and threads that end with my reply. But you can't really say people are ignoring you man. You're just not talking about a topic that they're interested in, or care about. I'm going to tell you the same thing I told Blind_Prophet. Don't take it so hard lol! Anyhow that choc icon idea was a great one, although I think it should be just a *little* bigger... You're going to go into software programming too? Cool! So far we have three members interested in that!

You Ain't Alone, Nanobye... honest!

And by the way... anyone who can follow through on a long range goal the way you are is someone to be admired. Even I, in my old age, have a hard time with that. Kudos to you and I know you will get your car soon!
