You can't trust Vermonters or Canadians on this issue -- they have both made repeated attempts to have maple syrup declare one of the four basic food groups.

I love chocoalte it is one of my vice's in life. Funny I thought only women really loved chocolate?
And MMMMM maple syrup. My wife makes dutch honey. It envolves heavy cream and maple syrup and vanila beans. I provide the home made waffles. And I drown them in dutch honey. [img]smile.gif[/img]
