OK, I finally decided to download Shadowkeeper and in comes as a zip file and evidently as far as my computer is concerned that means it is a song to be opened on my midi console!
Help! How do i fix this! Dammit this is frustrating! |

I unzipped sk to a folder i created on my desktop.Didnt have any problems. Ive had for a while. I think when I first downloaded I did have a problem were the changes I made to my game wouldnt take effect but i redownloaded itand everything has been working fine.

Just create a folder for it and unzip the contents of the file into that folder and run the application.

ok, there are two ways you can do this, but first let me explain the problem to you in detail:
the problem is obviously that your computer sees the file differantly then you want it to. you can edit how windows deals with file extensions by clicking on your start button, go to Settings, click on Folder Options, and click on the file settings tab. you will see a list of all the file extensions that windows sees, and you can edit what programs are opened when you click on a file with that extension. you can also force winzip to open that file. open winzip, and then use the Open command and point it to that file if you need additional help, my email is mikess@bellsouth.net or my icq is 57573798 |

Thanks for all your help, I'm downloadin winzip now, hopefully that will solve all my problems.
I've noticed I've got a new word doc. called spells and one called items, I guess this is from shadowkeeper?? Why is it all in code, ie boxes and such? what do i need to do to translate it? |
