You'll get all Fighter and Cleric HLA's, and from the Mage HLA's you can get the three extra bonus spells. The reason you cannot get the mages HLA spells is that F/M/C's and F/M/T's aren't supposed to ever get 9th level spell slots.

Aww, F/M/T's and F/M/C's are no fun! I got a tad tired of beating everything so thoroughly so often without cheating, so I decided to solo every character I could. A few exceptions, here and there, (Why solo a skald when you can solo a jester or blade, for instance?) but I had a *LOT* of fun.

My favorite so far?

The Avenger. Funnest thing in the *world* to solo... they shapechange into all sorts of fun stuff, and don't really have any bad drawbacks... since a lot of your time is spent either shapechanged or Iron Skinned, the "leather but not studded" restriction isn't a problem... and Avengers can wear the Red Dragon Scale, for some reason.

Try it sometime... high-level dualed or single-classes characters are much more fun to play than multi-classed ones, anyway. A 40th level character is almost always more powerful than a 23/25 or a 20/17/21. (Yay for ballparking!)

And druids can talk to trees! How cool is that?

Yes, but the idea is not to be really powerful in one area but instead to be versatile in multiple areas. In effect, to be able to whip out anything and pretty much everything you need regardless of what the game throws at you.

SOMEONE *ELSE* HAS SOLOED AN AVENGER DRUID! How many is that now?!
I swear, this game will be the end of me. (Yes, I realize I'm quasi-quoting from a tombstone in BG1)
