Idle hands in Imnesvale

What is the purpose of this quest in your journal? It appears when three children ask you to buy them ale, longswords, or both in Imnesvale, and once you give it to them they leave with a "thank you sir!".

It's just bugging me because the quest is still in my journal, not under completed quests where I'd like. Anyone know what the deal with the kids is, and do you encounter them again?

go to the cave where you find the mimic blood, depending on you did you could get different endings

They're wanna-be adventurers. Just buy them the aile and the swords and go search for them somewhere in Umar Village and give the items to them, and they walk off happy. (plus you get 2,000 experience points I think)

the quest isnt "finished" untill a while passes and you visit the cave, they will be there being assulted by one gibberling [img]smile.gif[/img] just kill it and save them, the quest is now over

Thanks guys, it was just bugging me still having a quest not done, and I really never thought to go back to the cave after getting the mimic's blood.

A good character would not be providing alcohol or weapons to children, shame on you.

WHOA I just did a ranger, and I swear I gave them both swords and ale; completed that quest - didn't lose my stronghold, did all the stronghold quests... [img]graemlins/1ponder.gif[/img]
