One of the things that I found strange when I started playing IWD was how many days (not hours but days) I would rest. Sometimes as many as 32. Compared to a few hours here and there with BG. I'm interested to know what the average number of days would be to complete IWD. According to my calculations it's already taken me over 7 years and I'm not done yet. Anyone?

In Heart of Fury mode, from start to finish, IWD took me roughly 110 days. If you include HOW and TOL, it took 358 days. But I like to take the scenic route on occassion.

was that 32 days for one single rest?? I presume you mean total, but that doesn't sound right either... I finished with 250-300 or so days for IWD alone, first time through.. I don't kno how much time i spent asleep, but i figure at least 3/5 because i would average 12 hours of sleep but i only got really fatigued a handful of times.

Yeah, nice one Micah --> 110 of HOF would kill me!! Lata skata

Like Micah, I too have recently completed IWD+HoW using HOF mode enabled right from the start. IWD took me a total of 173 days 15 hours, but HoW+TotLM was a whole different ball game and I managed to complete both in just 29 days 9 hours using HOF

I'm only halfway through the Severed Hand with this party and we're up to about 90 days (or something like that). Sleeping time has been dropped to 8 hours thanks to that lovely bard song that regenerates your characters. That song should be a #1 hit!

Jim, You must have been FLYING through HOW and TOL! That is REALLY fast. I'm impressed!

Azred - aren't high level bards great??? It's so nice to have your own private EMS squad travelling with you - not to mention the spell lots that you save from healing spells!

Yes and that's quite common. usually between 24 days and some odd hours up to (it only happened once when almost all my characters were dead) 69 days. I'm at 2789 days now and I'm not yet finished. This is just IWD not HOW.

Do I have a bug then? No one else has this happen? I thought Micah was teasing me again. LOL

It's not a bug CV. Remember, you don't have a cleric! With a Cleric in the party, the clerics healing spells are automatically cast when a party rests. WIthout a cleric you have to depend on your characters natural healing abilities, which are much slower.
