where can i find that spell

'Find Familiar' can be found near the forge room in the d'Arnise hold. Isn't too hard to find. And as mentioned in the other thread, you have to be the main character (Can't remember how to spell "Protagonist")

It is random loot on many places, but I know there is sold one in Brynnlaw later in the game. I'm also pretty sure that you can buy it from one of the Shadow Thieves in the SHadow Thief-HQ.

You sure you cant spell protagonist? You spelled it right up there. Also you dont have to be a mage to have a familiar. If you another class ie. fighter, all you have to do is put the scroll in your back pack with a potion. Right click the potion and drink it. INstead of closing the inventory screen switch the potion with a find familiar scroll, and PRESTO, your fighter will have a familiar
