You need to...
open the puzzlebox! Which can be found... In the larger elven building in the south-west part of the city on the first floor. And once you've taken your prize, you... put it (I think it was a symbol, not sure), the moonblade and the cup onto the altar Which is located... In the temple, at the center of the city. The other items you'll need later on, for something I'm not going to tell you right now. BTW, in case you did not pick it up yet, highlighting will show the spoiled bits  EDIT: Hmm, can't get the font colour exactly right. 3D2F1B shows on the lighter of the two backdrops.
