Default Anyone see the all new, american "young person"?

At Obama's town hall meeting thingy? LOL. You can even see Obama thinks he's nuts. I mean, I know people say Obama is the new messiah but my god.

The guy was excited, but I thought he had a fair question.

I think the dude is a tad nuts. More than a tad. What I dont understand is that he couldn't find a single job that is better than McDonalds? The skeptic in me thinks he isn't trying hard enough or hasn't even tried really.

The guy may have been a little hopped up, but I think that's good for us.

In the times we are in there is a choice. To have some optimism, faith in ourselves and each other, and do work for the better day. Or join the failures, giving out failure energy and creating more failure for yourself and rest of us.

Sad, pathetic, desperate, greedy failure we've had enough of you! I'll take hyper-excited guy over the negative creeps anyday and everyday.

Obviously a big day for him to talk to the President, but yeah, he did seem very enthusiastic.

And, while I have oersonally never worked at McD's, it is not that bad a job is it? I mean, he has been employed continuously for 4 years, he doesnt have much training (for other jobs that is), so what is he after?

Me and all my friends worked those kinds of jobs all the way through Uni. Its not what you want to do forever, but it gets you through.

He'll be telling his grandkids about this one day.

And probably screaming and jumping up and down the same way when he tells them about it. I posted this in good fun, not cynical scrutiny. I agree he had a valid question and I too have worked in fast-food joints when I was younger. He's funny though.

Well, maybe with grace, there won't be any grand kids.
