Since I am going to hit the troll infestation in some place (or even two of them), I wonder what fire/acid/poison damaging katanas are there.

The fight for Celestial Fury is too difficult for me now (lvl10 solo kensai... no tacktics)

Without mods IIRC there aren't alot of unique Katana's out there, Valygars Katana does bleeding damage (similar to poison), I'm not sure if there are any other good damage dealing katana's that aren't CF...

Now I dualwield two plain +1 katanas and they really rock in my hands. All I need is a way to finish off trolls. And no proficiency points in weapons other than katanas - thats RPing

A bit later I will try to get the CF, but not now.

I think CF's only troll killer is the stun (stops regen)

Well, unless you are RP-ing that the katana's are stuck to your hand, there's no reason your character can't carry one of the more common fire-dealing weapons. He may train with katanas, fight with katanas, and eat with katanas, but if they will not get the trolls killed and your character knows that, it'd be stupid to fight trolls without posessing something to finish them off.
It's not going out of character if you use a club only for that nasty job, and in fact the penalties you get when wielding one are there to represent that you do not really know how to use it.

An alternative would be to use potions that deal fire damage, like the potion of firebreath or the oil of fiery burning.
Also, didn't the gnoll from the cloak of the sewers have a firedamage-dealing halberd?

Gnoll from the Cloak of the Sewer?? AFAIK it only allows polymorhing into Troll, Rat and Mustard Jelly. You probably missed the Cloak with Polymorph Self spell....

Great point LOL!

Will have to use the long +1 which also deals some fire damage... sold by Ribald and Bernard.. forgot the name of the blade. And yes, the penalties will represent the lack of training (they really do ), and the drop of ApR by 1 will represent the fury of the samurai gods at me wielding non Kara-Tur weapons

Yes, you're right. Mixed those two up.
The kensai will have to stick with potions and weapons then.

Or, you could lure them all the way back to BG1, where I remember an undisarmable, inexhaustable fireball trap laying around...

you could also use the ring of energy. or the necklace of missles. IIRC, both can be found in Trademeet.

edit: btw, the sword is called "The Sword of Flame +1"

The Ring of Energy is sold by Ribald, as far as I can remember.

It's been my experience that the "must be killed with Fire or Acid" thing is merely a suggestion, not a rule. First it was shown that Poison will reliably kill Trolls just as dead, and then I saw that Cold and Lightning can sometimes apply the killing hitpoint as well (which brings the Celestial Fury back into play--it has only a % chance of Lightning damage, but it's there), and I've even killed some random Trolls with pure Physical damage alone.
