Someone asked how he is getting away. I think there is the suspicion that he lives near the Bus stop where he shot the guy this morning.

I agree He's yanking chains, but I think he's an foreign intel services member. This guy doesn't want to be caught, he's very calculating in all his moves. The old hit'em where they ain't play. Any comunication is a smoke screen, any threats are to distract from his next targets. It's not the thrill of the kill for him, he's doing a job.

I've just heard the latest news, and it appears that he made demands in a letter. Money perhaps ??? Is this what it's all about ?? Money ??? I hope if they ever get this guy they blow his friggin head off. A prisonterm would be too much credit for someone like that.

you may be right. people focus on the shot accuracy and gun ammo to see if hes a pro or just a regular guy (although he obviously is a pretty good shot), but thats not the most difficult thing to do. the most remarkable "feat" of the sniper is getting away unseen after the shooting when police are throwing huge and fast dragnets on the area, and people are on the lookout for anybody suspicious. its like hes a ghost, he just dissapears.

it requires a lot of planning and a really cool mind to change areas travelling hundreds of miles to confuse police, check out possible escape routes, calculate time by the minute to see available getaways and police response, pick possible snipe sites and maybe stay there for hours waiting for a victim, and then shoot them in cold blood. in order to execute all that with calm, without rushing and without seeming in a hurry, nervous or suspicious to anybody, and then just dissapear like he was never there you have to either 1. be extremely lucky, which is not feasible, cause its been too many shootings in too many places and enviroments for that, or 2. you have to be a pro.

Has anyone mentioned the French 2nd Leiutent that is now AWOL. I read on USATODAY that the French Military has reported him to INTERPOL. Seems he is of Yugoslovian decent and is sniper trained. He was granted leave to come to Canada and the US for a trip and failed to report back on Sept. 25. Could this be him?
